Eric started his career in Real Estate after graduating from college in 2002 with a Business Administration degree. Eric worked with smaller family-owned real estate companies based out of south Florida and eventually got involved with selling real estate for developers. Soon after the real estate market crashed in 2007 Eric started liquidating assets for developers that got stuck in the collapsed market. Eric was part of a team of agents that liquidated hundreds of condos in the Orlando and Tampa Bay areas including Harbor Club Condominiums in Palm Harbor.
Eric had turned into a highly successful real estate agent and earned the highest designation in residential real estate, the coveted Certified Residential Specialist or CRS designation. After falling in love in 2009 with his soon-to-be wife, Krystin, Eric ventured out into the regular real estate market and decided to stay in Palm Harbor, Florida. With Krystin by his side, Eric started to become one of the top agents at his previous brokerage reaching the "top cappers" goal on his second year at Future Home Realty. Eric also liquidated REO's or repossessed properties for banks including Chase bank and Kondaur Capital. Always intrigued by what builders did for a living, Eric made it a goal to learn more about the construction side of real estate and in an effort to do so started investing in real estate, fixing the properties up and selling them for a profit. Eric earned a Florida Construction license that allowed him to remodel or build homes from the ground up. Eric's Florida Construction and Real Estate license are still active today. Eric eventually realized that he had master the Florida real estate market and wanted to fulfill his dreams of returning to his birth country of Costa Rica.
Now Eric is starting his own business model based out of Pavones, Costa Rica using his 17 years of real estate experience as a guide. This includes high-quality construction & real estate services. Eric realized that the quality of services currently being offered in Southern Costa Rica was subpar and this realization came about during the purchase of his own property. Eric is now determined to make sure that locals and foreigners alike can leave with more than just a hand shake. "Peace of mind" is what he likes to call it. When Eric left after finding a perfect property to buy, he had no contract, no escrow information and no attorney information, just an email address for the owner of the property. He also noticed in the construction aspect that many of the homes lacked highly critical building components, like P-traps on sinks and drains that don't allow sewage smells to come back up, were missing.
Eric is now also a Certified Residential Contractor and owns Coastal Property Renovations LLC (Lic # CRC1331249) along with his business partner.
If you would like to hire the best real estate agent in South Pacific Costa Rica look no further. Eric's attention to detail mixed with his investing and construction expertise allow him to represent you in the sale of your home or on the purchase of your next home with professionalism and enthusiasm. Wouldn't you like the know-how of a Licensed US Contractor and a top real estate agent walking through the properties with you?

I discovered a passion for real estate while in college, where I earned a degree in business administration. I got into real estate in 2002 in Miami, Florida with the Keyes Company and later with Ocean View Int'l Realty.
In 2006, I was becoming one the top producers of the family-owned Real Estate company that I was working for at the time. My motivation and passion for real estate catapulted me to Project Sales Manager for several different developers in the Orlando and Tampa Bay areas. In early 2007, I moved to Palm Harbor, Florida to take over the sales of a 272 condominium community. In 2009, three other associates and I teamed up to liquidate 198 condominiums in 3 short months. In Palm Harbor, Florida I specialize in all types of residential sales, from bank owned houses to helping underwater home owners with their short sales and even multi-family commercial real estate.
Never satisfied with my current knowledge, I continue to study and learn real estate and business in general. I have earned residential real estate's highest and hardest designation, the Certified Residential Specialist. I was one of the first agents to be designated SFR (Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource) by the National Association of Realtors. I am highly trained and educated. I use a combination of traditional methods mixed in with today's top technologies to sell your home or find you your ideal property.
I use my skills as a Certified Residential Contractor to help my buyer clients buy good solid homes. I also use my construction knowledge and skills to help my sellers spruce up their properties and get top dollar for their homes. I have a wide array of sub-contractors that give me special pricing as a contractor and when you list or buy a home through me I pass those savings on to you. Just in case you are wondering....besides being a real estate agent in Pavones, Costa Rica, I also own a construction company in Florida, Coastal Property Renovations LLC and have a state Certified License for Residential Contracting (Lic # CRC1331249)
My goal is to make your purchase or sale as easy as possible for you by implementing tools to make your life easier. As you can see, I am highly experienced and motivated. I promise to bring honest and professional real estate services to Pavones and the entire South Pacific Costa Rica.
